Impacting Our Community by providing a Hand Up.

Success Stories

Project Life Change had the opportunity to break out the shears and power tools and show off our handiness around the home.
Project Life Change had the pleasure to extend our hands out to a brand new couple that moved to central Texas.

The couple, their child, and soon-to-be born needed shelter and necessities to get settled and begin their new life here. We pray that our small gesture was able to give them the boost they needed to do just that!
Project Life Change had the opportunity to help a family "revamp" their home. The family ran into a period of hardships, and in order to stay afloat, needed to sell their home. A neighboring church contacted us and asked for assistance to bring their home to a marketable state.
No deed is too small!

One family ran into a temporary wall when their refrigerator broke down. Project Life Change had acquired a refrigerator the week prior, so the timing was perfect to loan it out to a family in need!

In their own words...

“We are a single income family with four small children and little to no financial safety net. When our refrigerator quit cooling I worried that we wouldn’t have the money to replace the $200 worth of food that I had bought the day before. Project Life Change had a refrigerator for us to use that night and a member of PLC even came to my house late in the evening to help my husband unload it. We were able to save 90% of our food and used the fridge for the several weeks it took us to come up with a workable solution. Thank you, and God Bless You, for giving us the helping hand that we needed and showing us God’s love through your ministry!!

A sweet friend and member of the Journey has blessed us unspeakably by offering of her time on a weekly basis to provide childcare for my children while my husband and I attended a home-based small group that was engaged in a marriage building study. The time alone with my husband, the encouragement and fellowship of other believers and the peace of mind of knowing that my children were safe, happy, and tucked into bed are priceless. I cannot express enough depth of gratitude! When people give of themselves in the simplest of ways they have the power to affect enormous change in the lives of others. The growth in our marriage and in our family is a testimony to that.”
Project Life Change was honored to help one of our own families through a period of rough times. With your help, we saved them from old, broken appliances with a new microwave, washer and dryer. We gave their air conditioner a tune-up in time for the very warm Texas summer, and some additional help to keep them afloat. Thank you to everyone that helped out!!
The Hope Connections PRC opened a new facility in Leander and called upon Project Life Change to help prepare the building for their grand opening in August. This allowed us to get our hands dirty to clean, prime, paint, wire, install, pretty much anything and everything involved with organizing the interior of a building from scratch! Please visit the Austin PRC's website to learn more about the services they offer.

Project Life Change has been in operation since 2007.

Prior to engaging specifically in Matthew 25 services, we assisted those around Central Texas in various ways.
